The list of Jamie's Lyme Symptoms is long but the key ones, in no particular order, are:Physical Manifestations
  • Severe insomnia (only sleeps for 2 hours at a time even with high doses of sleep meds)
  • Severe and constant headache (due to the inflammation in the lower brain stem; pain meds only slightly help)
  • GI disturbances and inability to digest food well
  • Gallbladder pain (even though my gallbladder was removed.  The gallbladder was atrophied and very scarred due to the Lyme)
  • Tremors
  • Fasciculations (twitching)
  • Cognitive Dysfunction (housebound, can't drive anymore, can't prepare her own meals so goes without eating on bad days when there is no caregiver)
  • Tooth and Jaw Pain -especially in lower molars
  • Tinutitis (ringing in the ears)

  • tender eyeballs and eyebrow hurt
  • blurry vision
  • low blood sugar
  • feel like I am going to pass out
